MN State Grant Deadlines!

The students' completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid must be received by the Federal Application Processing Center no later than 30 days after the start date of the first term for which they want to be considered for State Grant at their institution.

Financial Aid Disbursement

To receive your financial aid funds for grants, loans, scholarships and work-study you must sign up for direct deposit.  This will require you to have a bank account, checking or savings, to receive your funds.

Important Changes in Federal Student Aid!

• students are only eligible for six full-time years of Pell grant
• student loans will accumulate interest starting at separation (graduation or dropping below 6 cr)
• you must have a high school diploma or equivalent to receive Federal Student Aid

Understand Our Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy!

Applying for financial aid in a timely manner and meeting the SAP policy will ensure your grants, loans, and workstudy can be disbursed.  As defined in the policy, you must maintain your grade point average and you also must complete the courses in which you enroll.  Review the Academic Planner/Handbook for the complete policy.
