Education:

1979-Graduated High School Diploma- Eveleth High School

1982-Graduated Certified Dental Technician from the Dental Technology Institute, Orange, CA.

 Coach Rannikar finished his fifth season as head coach of Women's Softball at Hibbing Community College.  Rannikar guided the Lady Cardinals to their best MCAC Northern Division finish in 5 years, with a second place finish.  The Cardinals also qualified for their second consecutive state tournament appearance.

Coach Rannikar has coached at all levels of fastpitch softball, starting with Little League, 12U's, 14u's, 16U's, and 18U's.  In 2009, he help coach the Hibbing 16U's summer softball program to a MMFL State Tournament Championship.

Following the 2011 softball season, coach Rannikar was named MCAC Northern Division "Coach of the Year".   He was also named NJCAA Region XIII B Division III Softball All Region "Coach of the Year".
